Stay True

“I have not always chosen the safest path. I've made my mistakes, plenty of them. I sometimes jump too soon and fail to appreciate the consequences. But I've learned something important along the way: I've learned to heed the call of my heart. I've learned that the safest path is not always the best path and I've learned that the voice of fear is not always to be trusted.” ― Steve Goodier

It's been a time of tough decisions, hard work, and opportunity. Despite the easiest path financially being working for other companies and getting a steady paycheck, my heart knows this is not my path. I was made with an insatiable ambition. I am an entreprenuer. And the deeper I go into my heart I know that fashion is an industry that has always called to me, but for the longest time I did not answer. I did not answer because I see the glaring flaws of this industry. It is wasteful. It is full of discrimination and exploitation. So I turned away many times from the calling of my heart. But a quiet wisdom began to whisper, what if I could change that? What if I could create fashion that is sustainable? Fashion that does not discriminate. Fashion that embraces humans, in all their shapes, in their culture, in their longing to be unique and accepted. I will not turn away. I will not zag from this course. Instead I go with my ram horns pushing against the grain. I see others carving this path. I see others CARING about their clothing, where it comes from, its story. Clothing is an industry that desperately needs a restyle. I make clothing that matters. I make clothing with a passion for changing how people like me perceive fashion.

Building a business from the ground up is not for the faint of heart. When I crunch all the numbers, the result is far from what I have in my bank account. But I have always believed in miracles. And I have so many people who believe in me as a human. Who believe in what I'm doing. More and more I see people who believe in redemption of this industry. Anything is possible; and more and more we are faced with the truths that change MUST happen. I am doubling up my efforts. I am needed in this change. I can do great things. I am staying true to my heart even in an industry that often breaks my heart. Moving forward. Finding my path. One step at a time. I hope you enjoy what I do. I hope you will support this movement which is much bigger than just myself. What you wear changes how you feel. And how you feel affects what you do. When you feel great, you can do great things. The choices each individual makes add up to astronomical sums, and we all can make the choice to choose wiser, sustainable, friendly clothing over cheap, exploited, and wasteful clothing.
